Course Overview

Community Leadership (ABSC 150) provides an introduction to analysis, intervention, evaluation, and leadership in contemporary problems facing local communities. Readings, lectures, and service-learning activities enable students to understand community problems and how citizens and professionals can address them. The goals of the course are to: A. Increase knowledge about leadership and problem solving in communities; B. Enhance skills of working with others to solve problems facing communities; and, C.
