We know that substance abuse prevention works best when it is rooted in addressing local needs and conditions and that engaging the community directly through all of the steps of the Strategic Prevention Framework makes efforts more likely to be successful.

This 2 part webinar series will go beyond the usual training regarding building capacity to look at current best practice around not just getting people to the table but keeping them meaningfully engaged, increasing levels of collaboration and ownership and increasing coalition impact. The webinar will also provide time for questions and discussion and a multitude of follow up resources.
 
Audience: This training is appropriate for prevention staff and supervisors, community coalition leaders and members and others interested in substance abuse prevention.
